1st annual event at Springdale Pool & park in Fenton, MO 11-4:30 pm, 7/15/12
BBQ, swimming, music, food, activities for kids
Free to military families with ID; open to public for $7/person

Ameren, Jefferson County Health Department, and Hammers of HOPE have teamed up to distribute window ACs to low income families.  Applications are being accepted.

Random bus routes will be selected to seek riders to answer trivia questions and receive prizes, starting 7/9/12

MFP, Money Follows the Person

MEAAA now has contract with State of Missouri as “Money follows the Person” Provider. Any Medicaid-eligible person in a nursing facility with a wish of moving back to the community may be eligible for funds and coordination to help with transition.  Call for more info.

AARP Drivers Safety Class, Friday 7/13, 10 am to 2 pm, sign-up required. $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members. Certificate given at the end of class, check with insurance about possible reductions in price.  Call or email to sign up.

Summer Reading Program is still going on for children- lots of events, crafts, and storytime- call to register the kids or find out more details. Ask for: Molly Schmitt
