AARP Driver Safety Course April 19th 1-5pm $12 for members, $14 for non
members. Course will help seniors drive defensively and can result in insurance

DRA
Missouri State Independent Living Council’s Public Forum will be held April 24th at
1pm at DRA office at 420 S. Truman Blvd. Crystal City. Looking for members from
community to participate in public forum regarding MOSILC 5 year plan. For more

DRA will be moving to new facility located on N. Truman Blvd near Shop N Save in

Living Well Village
WIT Weekend May 5-6 - WIT Weekend is a weight loss program in weekend
format to underserved and disadvantaged families. The Wellness in Teens,
Wellness in Tweens and Wellness in Tots is designed to create healthier family
units through lifestyle choices. It is the belief of the Foundation “When you know
better, you can do better”
Living Well Foundation $6000 Cash Raffle fundraiser. 1st prize $4000, 2nd prize
$1000, 3rd prize $500. Seller of 1st prize ticket wins $500. Raffle tickets are $25
each. Raffle drawing will take place at Golf Tournament on August 24th.

WIA Programs for employment and training are taking applications for adult and
youth programs for employment and tuition assistance.

Free workshops available at the MO Arnold Career Center 636-287-8909. No sign up
required. Call for schedule of workshops.
Comtrea to hold Fashion Show to benefit Women’s Shelter. Sunday April 22nd
12:30-4:30. Viking Conference center in Crestwood. $40 per ticket. To benefit the
shelter and programs for victims of domestic violence.

Applications are now being taken for early and regular headstart.
Applications are being taken for Winter Emergency Crisis Fund energy assistance
program until May 31st. Must have shut off notice.
Applications are being taken for Weatherization Program.
Health and Education Back to School Fair will be held at Jefferson College Field
House on August 5th. Accepting donations of school supplies for low income
