Starting Your Journey: Learning the Basics about Alzheimer’s

This program features a lecture and meetings with experts for those concerned about themselves or a loved one’s memory and those who are recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Through this program you will:
•Know the signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s and learn about early detection and treatment
•Receive help for living with dementia, and learn how to tap into the Alzheimer's Association for information and support
After the 90-minute lecture, Alzheimer's Association staff will:
•Offer FREE individual guidance for your particular situation. Appointments with staff must be made in advance and are available on a limited basis. Please call Ruthie at (314) 801-0446 to schedule. ($50 value)
•Offer FREE registration for a safety program for people with memory loss ($80 value)

Featuring: Stephanie Rohlfs-Young, MSW & Debra Bryer, RN

As Outreach Director, Stephanie has 13 years of experience as a geriatric social worker with the Alzheimer's Association. She also cares for a family member with early stage Alzheimer’s.
As the Association’s Early Stage Coordinator and a family caregiver, Deb has created cutting-edge programs for persons with dementia and counseled numerous families on the Alzheimer journey.
